Türkiye's mountainous terrain hosts ski resorts from the high peaks of eastern Anatolia to Black Sea mountain ranges and Uludağ near Marmara. This poll brings together ski resorts and winter-tourism towns from different regions.

What to consider

Altitude, snow quality and duration, slope variety and lodging capacity are useful measures. Palandöken, above 3,000 meters, offers a long ski season, while a resort near a city center may stand out for ease of access.

This poll includes ski resorts and mountains whose location and altitude were verified through Wikipedia; well-known but unverifiable facilities were excluded.

About the options

Palandöken rises directly above Erzurum and offers one of Türkiye's longest ski seasons above 3,000 meters. Erciyes sits on a dormant volcano near Kayseri, while Kartalkaya is in Bolu's Köroğlu Mountains and Uludağ is Marmara's best-known resort near Bursa. Davraz, Sarıkamış, Ilgaz, Ergan Dağı and Zigana round out the list, along with Yedikuyular near Kahramanmaraş, showing that winter sports are not limited to eastern Anatolia and the Black Sea.
