About this poll
Turkey's car market brings together dozens of brands from Germany, Japan, South Korea, France, Italy, the United States and China, alongside Togg, the country's own manufacturer. Some brands have over a century of history, while others were founded within the last two decades.
What to consider
Build quality, reliability, design consistency and after-sales service are useful measures when comparing brands. A premium brand and a mass-market brand serve different expectations, so the segment a brand competes in also shapes the comparison.
How the list was built
This poll includes globally recognized car brands whose founding year and country of origin were verified through Wikipedia. Mass-market, premium, sports car and electric-vehicle brands are all represented, including Togg.
About the options
Toyota and Volkswagen have produced cars at mass scale since 1937, while Mercedes-Benz and BMW remain Germany's most established premium marques. Ferrari, Lamborghini and Porsche compete in the sports car segment, and Togg became Türkiye's own car brand after launching its first production model in 2022. Tesla and BYD represent the electric-vehicle segment.
